When the Going Gets Tough
I have had blogs before, and never seemed to keep up with them, but I love writing/story telling (I'm one of those "I use five million words when eight will do" people) so I decided to hop back on here and write. Many of you know that for the last eight years I have battled depression. It started with post-partum after both my kiddos were born, but in 2016 it became a daily "friend" of mine. 2016 was a really tough year. I lost all my joy, and I'm one of those freakishly happy all the time people. Like, always smiling happy. It comes and goes and usually doesn't hang around long. It most recently crept up on me about a month and a half ago and I've spent the better part of that time battling. I'm not writing to talk about what I've been going through, although believe me, I am an open book when it comes to this.
